Melissa and Hannah's Visit

Today, my friend from California, Melissa visited with her daughter Hannah. I hadn't seen Melissa in over five years, since I left the Bay Area. It was so wonderful to see her. It was a trip, too. Her daughter Hannah was born a month and a half before Eli. We were pregnant at the same time and didn't even know it. We lost touch when I moved, and got back in touch through facebook. Yay, facebook! It was so great to watch our kids play together. I was so proud of Eli, his social skills have come a long way. Both Hannah and Eli have the bossy only child syndrome (even though Eli's no longer an only child!). Yet, Eli held his own without being inappropriate. He shared all his toys, however reluctantly. He had a great time. Both Eli and I wanted them to stay much longer, maybe next time. As I do often, I tried to convince Melissa to move to Peachtree City. :) We were voted eighth best place to live in the country. Maybe I can keep working on her...
