Hose Boy

One way to lure Eli outside is to mention watering the plants. He loves playing with the hose. For a while, I had to ration his hose time. He would probably water for hours, and I was worried about wasting water. Another concern when watering was the cheap hose we had in the backyard. It had sprung several leaks and constantly got kinked. Fortunately, Scott has moved our good hose out to the backyard for Eli. He also put a new nozzle on the hose. The new nozzle makes for more interesting choices, but most importantly, it limits the amount of water that Eli's using. No water comes out unless Eli's pushing the trigger. And, the trigger is a difficult one. Therefore, the other day, I was able to let Eli water to his heart's content.
