At Dendi and Bapa's

I also borrowed Dendi's camera to get her pictures of Eli's birthday. Altogether the three of us have hundreds of pictures of Eli's party. It was a well photographed event! As I did on my mom's camera, I found several pictures worth posting on Dendi's camera, too. These pictures were all taken in late March and April.

First, a picture of me watching my girlie.


Later that evening, Keira tried out her big girl chair. She's not quite ready for it as it's a little tippy, so you can see me watching her in the background and finally lunging for her as she tried to bolt.




Then, later that same evening, Keira spent a little time on Dendi's lap watching Bunny. Keira loves Bunny. Bunny is a furry "bow-wow" who allows her to grab huge handfuls of fur without the slightest protest. Poor Bunny!



Much to Eli's delight, we've had our share of birthdays lately. Most importantly, we've had our share of cake lately. Here's Eli helping Uncle Jason blow out his candles. Congratulations to Uncle Jason and Andrea -- they got engaged. Congrats!


Dendi also took the only pictures of our family on Easter evening. She hosted Easter dinner. She took a picture of Keira and I on the swing. I think she got the only pictures of me with my cast. Keira's generally doing better around people outside her nuclear family, but she wasn't interested in leaving my lap either.


Dendi also got a picture of Eli and Scott. It's so interesting what a difference a few years makes. A few years ago, Eli would have wanted to stay close to me or Scott around a big group. But, now, it's almost the opposite. He'd much rather spend time running around with his aunts, uncles or his new favorite -- Tyler (Andrea's younger brother.) Here he is all sweaty from his rowdy play on the grass.


Finally, Dendi also had her camera for our backyard improvements. She got some great pictures of Eli playing in the giant sand mound and she even got a full-body shot of me in my walking cast while Eli played in the sand.
